We are currently seeking an Emergency Services Supervisor to join our Lucid Motors Security team. This position requires an experienced professional with a proven track record of emergency response and fire protection of people and property.  The position will plan and direct the fire, life, safety and security functions at multiple facilities under the direction of the Security Manager. The Emergency Coordinator will have an area of accountability in management of fire and prevention services, emergency response, hazardous materials investigations, facility equipment inspections, and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, organize, and coordinate all Emergency Response and related Safety Services.
  • Provide supervision and scheduling for both proprietary and contracted Emergency Response Specialists
  • Responsible for understanding, maintaining and using all fire-life safety systems and equipment (alarm monitoring, fire suppression, and firefighting and Hazmat equipment)
  • Interact and provide fire, life, and safety training with all site business units
  • Responsible for assessing situations, determining emergency status, and activating Incident Command System.
  • Coordinates cross-functional training with the Emergency Response team
  • Responsible for routine inspections of all fire, life, and safety equipment.
  • Will work with the Security Manager to develop policy, procedures, and processes.
  • Partners with Environmental, Health, and Safety to investigate accidents and hazardous materials spills to find root causes and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented
  • Responsible for employee education and training in initial emergency reporting and evacuation procedures
  • Coordinates relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement

Qualifications

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in related field with minimum of 2 years’ experience; with at least 1 year with specific and demonstrated experience in similar role. 
  • Preferred emergency planning and response experience
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA Standards.
  • Preferred firefighting experience 
  • Must be 21 years or older 
  • Valid Arizona Driver’s license and dependable means of transportation
  • Proven safe driving record
  • Firefighter level 1 certification
  • EMT certification
  • First Aid/CPR/ AED certification required or ability to obtain 3 months
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions
  • Ability to be On-Call 24/7
  • High degree of care and awareness to prevent physical injuries
  • Emotional control, consistent professionalism, and dependability
  • Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office software  
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and special events

  • Ability to kneel, sit, and stand for long periods of time 
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to carry out foot patrols within interior and exterior
