We are currently seeking an EE Engineering Technician.  This position requires an experienced professional to execute rework, board bring up and test to guarantee compliance of Lucid’s Electronic ECUs. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

  • Report to Test and Validation team and will be responsible for the full time support of testing, debugging and supporting an EE Sr. Technician. Responsibilities includes, supporting HW EE team with rework, board bring up, procurement of components, constructing cables and harnesses, as well as control and support the management of the EE and Environmental laboratories. 

Qualifications:

  • Experience with fine pitch, packages such as QFP and QFN.
  • Experience with PCB wire jumpers and parts down to 0201.
  • Develop and supporting test equipment and setups.
  • Troubleshooting electrical interfaces in PCB at the component level
  • Writing and doing rework instructions
  • Experience using scopes, power supplies through GPIB
  • Expertise using Allegro, Cadence, OrCAD, Labview/LabWindows
  • Highly skilled in JTAG programing
  • Executing test plans for ENV and EE
  • Basic knowledge in High Speed measurements/Setups
  • BSE or AS degree in Electronics plus 10 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with BGA replacement/re-balling
  • Participate as a team member to accomplish the Lucid testing requirements.
  • Support capital equipment and road mapping process for the test lab to identify equipment upgrades, capacity increase, and new technologies.

  • Knowledge in infotainment devices for automotive industry
