HR is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager to lead our HR Business Management team.
The Manager of Business Management is a member of the HR Leadership Team, reporting directly to the VP of HR. This position leads a small team with the charter of HR planning, chief-of-staff, and project management of cross-functional HR programs and/or projects.
The Manager of Business Management will be responsible for developing strategy/goals/success measures, drafting communication materials and decks, driving project timelines and fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment in the HR function. This individual should have business acumen, intense curiosity, high emotional intelligence, flawless credibility and practiced discretion. This role will be focused on balancing high-level long-term vision with day to day short-term execution and program development. Additional skills include building trusting relationships, global stakeholder management, organization and efficiency.
This position requires the ability to work with minimal direction, the capacity to move quickly and be flexible while delivering high-quality results.
This position exercises independent judgment, including management-level decisions that support company goals and the welfare of its employees. The highest degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism is mandatory and must always be maintained.

The Role

  • Support the VP of HR and HR leadership team by ensuring that the HR function is focused on a defined long-term strategy and executing against specific goals. This includes connecting, communicating and staying in-tune with HR leadership, their teams, and establishing a knowledge base of information and sharing with the broader HR organization when appropriate.
  • Manage priorities for VP of HR on certain matters – ensuring the right level of visibility for issues to be resolved efficiently.
  • Management of the HR budget and headcount, with strong partnership with Finance
  • Drive alignment on HR strategy, forming a plan with clear goals and asks, executing and monitoring progress.
  • Orchestrate critical meetings and discussions by tracking discussion points and synthesizing them in to action items for execution.
  • Management of the HR PMO and its portfolio of initiatives, including quarterly portfolio reviews with the HR leadership team
  • Provide thought leadership to program and project delivery and lead continuous improvement program in project delivery


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • PMP certification highly desired
  • A minimum of 5-7 + years of experience in any combination of the HR strategy space, management consulting, operations, strategy consulting or equivalent field.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills at senior levels, with the ability to interpret and summarize data to help management achieve strategic and operational goals
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • A “big-picture” thinker and strategist, able to stand above the day-to-day deliverables when required and contribute meaningfully to the HR strategy, but who is also attuned to the details required for successful execution.
  • Exceptional project management skills; experience partnering with global teams and driving the team to timely results.
  • Proven ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success.
  • Excellent relationship manager – able to work seamlessly with all levels of employees in a variety of scenarios.
  • Solid communicator in written and verbal form; ability work well with executives.
  • The highest level of influencing, diplomacy and discretion, in order to build and develop strong partnerships.
  • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential / sensitive information.
  • A high tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to navigate complexity.
  • Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment
  • High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously
