As the Manager of Recruiting Operations at Lucid Motors, you will be an integral member of the Recruiting team while enhancing our valued partnership within Human Resources. This critical role will be tasked with creating efficient processes, analyzing data and making informed decisions that will have impact both internally and externally. As a people manager, you will manage our support team, ensuring that procedure efficiencies are in place for our recruiting teams in the U.S. In addition to leading operations and managing recruiting compliance, you will also own special programs for Lucid Motors, such as Contractor Management, Vendor Management, University Recruiting, and New Resource Development for the organization. The ideal candidate will be customer service focused, have the ability to work well in an unstructured environment and balance multiple competing priorities while maintaining a high rate of success and attention to detail. 


  • Lead and provide guidance and mentorship to the Recruiting support team. Ensure the team is functioning well and provide direction / remove roadblocks as needed.
  • Our team always strives for improvement! Utilize your deep recruiting experience to conduct regular assessments of process inefficiencies and develop solutions that address the true challenges while ensuring scalability and full team education and adoption.
  • You will serve as the main point of contact for internal needs related to contract and contingent hiring.
  • Partner with Finance/HR for headcount reconciliation
  • Develop operations assimilation plans for recruiting coordinators, sourcers and recruiters. Maintain policy and training manuals, recruiting forum, etc. Partner with leadership to build resources that educate team members and employees and help others to be successful.
  • Analyze and recommend enhancements to processes as related to the candidate experience. We strive to provide all candidates with a top notch experience, and the Recruiting Operations Manager will review each candidate touch point to make certain we are providing the best experience possible. Key role in hosting VIP candidates to ensure a high level of attention to every detail of their experience.
  • Manage Contractor Workforce Program and oversee all contingent recruiting relationships (i.e., vendors, agency temps and contractors), identify and vet agency partners and vendors, and track all program data.
  • Establish relationships and partner with leaders and HR Business partners to educate on process and policies regarding the contingent workforce program. Work directly with hiring managers on processes and recruiting.
  • Negotiate agency contracts, including terms, mark up and conversion rates.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Recruiting, with at least 2 years as a people manager (high tech experience is a HUGE plus!).
  • Strong experience with systems, workforce planning and reporting
  • Effective project management / time management skills. You are a critical thinker and can determine when issues need to be escalated, and what the right path of escalation should be.  
  • You are able to exercise sound judgement and make appropriate decisions and assessments.
  • Self-starter mentality with ability to work autonomously and produce results on a varied number of projects. You are a roll up your sleeves and make it happen kind of person!
  • Capability to efficiently manage deliverables in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and communicative. You are nimble, thrive in ambiguity and enjoy making your own path.
  • You are known for being an exceptional partner. You possess excellent interpersonal skills that help build trust and develop long term relationships. You have the ability to effectively influence at all levels of an organization, using data to illustrate recommendations.
  • Effectiveness in both written and spoken communication. In addition to mindfulness toward grammar/spelling, you know how to communicate the message appropriately to different audiences.
