We are currently seeking a Service Manager for the Greater Los Angeles area.  

This position requires an experienced professional with a background in Automotive Service Management as well as hands-on experience. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.  

The Role:

  • Build a world class, customer centric team of Service Advisors, Service Technicians, Parts Professionals and other supporting members
  • Collaborate with other management team members regularly on process improvements and/or enhancements regarding service and parts operations
  • Partner with all team members within the service center to ensure each customer experience is better than their previous one 
  • Work effectively with service center technicians with the understanding that you may need to assist in repairs of Lucid Motors vehicles
  • Ensure you are a Leader within the organization that sets the example for your team as well as others while encouraging continuous improvement
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of Lucid Motors mission and the importance of your contribution through your role as a Service Manager  
  • Ability to travel up to first 60 days to Newark, CA headquarters for training


  • Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and vendors
  • Minimum 10 years varied automotive service leadership experience
  • A verifiable track record of excellence in customer service
  • Previous experience as an automotive technician and possess the willingness to assist in repairs should the need arise
  • Ability to organize and drive continuous improvement 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build a world class team from the ground up
  • Experience maintaining product and company reputation by complying with all government regulations
  • Must possess a valid driver license
  • Passion to continuously develop, improve, and maintain processes


  • Experience working in start-up environments
  • Knowledge of, HV systems, EV systems and EV Powertrains
  • OEM Specific Technician Training
  • EPA 609 Certification
  • OEM Specific Service Advisor Training

Educational Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • AAS/BS in either Automotive Technology or Business Management or equivalent work experience
