We are currently seeking a Test and Validation Engineer.  This position requires an experienced professional to work directly with Test & Validation Lead Engineer to accomplish DVP on time. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

  • Report to Test and Validation team and will be responsible for component level test and validation working in Environmental laboratories setting up, testing and reporting all the results of DVP to the infotainment and controls teams.

Qualifications:

  • Plan testing based on complexity of the program
  • Manage plans with latest program timing and requirements
  • Monitor all inputs for changes & update plans accordingly
  • Define & maintain pre-test checklists
  • Work with the Lead Test & Validation Engineer to update test procedures
  • Participate in reviews of test procedures prior to the start of DVP
  • Execute test requirements
  • Analyze data
  • Track of the issues using JIRA and extended knowledge in Confluence
  • Identify root cause and work together with design engineers for counter measure or redesign
  • Perform evaluation reports
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate EE engineer
  • Utilize HIL
  • Lab Management
  • BSEE required.
  • 5+ years of relevant test and validation work experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing DVP test plans, procedures and execution
  • ISO 16750, LV124, Electric loads, IP Protection,
  • Experience developing CAN LIN LVDS Ethernet communication interfaces
  • Baste knowledge using LabVIEW
  • Experience coding with Python
  • Management of Scopes, VNA, Spectrum analyzers, High Speed scopes up to 33GHz
  • Basic knowledge testing Audio systems
  • Basic knowledge in Displays metrology
  • Extend experience in: Cpk, Ppk using Statistical Process Control
  • Automating Environmental Chambers
  • Knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, Climatic tests
  • Knowledge in EMC and Signal Integrity
  • Vibration tests is a plus.
