We are looking an Associate Project Manager to join our world-class team. This exceptional candidate will own and be responsible for all aspects of state and federal applications for our retail stores and assist with project management for back-office sales and retail operations.

The Role

  • Define, document and execute the strategy for state and federal applications relating to vehicle sales ensuring all legal and governing body requirements are met.
  • Create the road map, timeline and project management for new motor vehicle applications providing national coverage where permitted. Work closely with retail, legal and IT teams to track and coordinate various teams.
  • Draft documentation and track the submission of state-mandated requests from various governing agencies.
  • Develop policies, procedures, practices, and form documentation relating to Lucid's sales regulatory and compliance functions.
  • On-board new vendors and analyze vendor performance to ensure that they are abiding by our contracted agreements.
  • Evaluate and execute on-boarding of key vendors and analyze vendor performance to ensure that they are abiding by our contracted agreements.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of state DMV laws, vehicle code and applicable statutes as it relates to the company's sales compliance.
  • Serve as the project manager as it relates to sales operations, order administration, and back-office support systems.
  • Identify areas of improvement within operations, process, and policy and take the lead on collaborating with finance, legal and retail teams to improve efficiency.


  • 8+ years experience in project/product management
  • BA or BS in business, engineering or communications preferred
  • Experience in project or program management and working knowledge best practices
  • Ability to work with autonomy in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a track record of managing partners both internally and externally
  • Experience managing complex projects/programs with an extraordinary level of organization and attention to detail
  • Strong written, oral and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • An understanding of policy and regulatory processes with an ability to read, distill and understand state and federal statutes
  • Working knowledge of New Motor Vehicle Board processes
  • Vehicle OEM, Tier 1 supplier or luxury vehicle retail experience and understanding of sales channel process flow
  • B2C go-to-market or rapid-growth sales channel experience
