The Role

  • Work with vehicle engineering, systems engineers, hardware engineers to define and maintain requirements for body controls.
  • Deliver robust application code to control body system systems including: doors, lighting, vehicle power states, low voltage power management, etc.
  • Work closely with platform/low level software engineers to integrate application code with the systems/platform software.
  • Validate software at the unit, component, and system level.


  • 3+ years of experience with embedded control systems.
  • Expert knowledge of Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow.
  • Experience with Embedded coder in Matlab/Simulink.
  • Proficient with the use of CAN analysis tools like CANalyzer,CANape etc.
  • Experience with tools like JAMA/JIRA/Git.
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams.
  • Common understanding of ISO 26262 and Autosar.
  • Basic electrical engineering skills for working with electronic devices.
  • Creativity in your design, ability to build stuff with your hands and great communication skills.
  • Experience developing diagnostics.
  • Working knowledge of C in embedded systems.
  • Past experience working on automotive body systems
  • Minimum BS degree in electrical, computer, mechanical or other appropriate engineering discipline.
