We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineering Manager.  This position requires an experienced professional with a background in Service Engineering and development of service department tools. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.  

The Role:

  • Develop and execute the strategy for global technical field support for Lucid Motors Service Centers and vehicles 
  •  Build a high impact team of Field Service/Sustaining Engineers and Field Technical Specialists for global technical product support of Lucid Service Centers, covering all systems of Lucid Motors Vehicles 
  • Collaborate with Engineering and vendors for the development of service technician diagnostic tool development
  • Collaborate with Service & Engineering departments to influence training and technical documents as related to service department, collision repair department, and product improvement 
  • Partner with Engineering team on vehicle fleet log/performance review, identifying field issues and corrective actions 
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of Lucid Motors vehicle systems, field failure patterns, and customer use cases to develop diagnostic and root cause analysis methods   


  • A track record of excellence in providing global technical product support for Service Technicians and other technical automotive personnel 
  •  Minimum 10 years varied automotive experience 
  •  Flexibility to travel as needed to support marketing events and service department needs 
  •  Ability to organize and drive continuous improvement  
  •  Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and vendors 
  •  Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  •  Experience maintaining product and company reputation by complying with government regulations 
  •  Passion to continuously develop, improve, and maintain processes 
  • Advantageous:
  • Experience working in start-up environments
  • In-depth knowledge of, HV systems, EV systems and EV Powertrains 
  • Education Requirements: 
  • BS/MS in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or equivalent experience
