We are currently seeking an EMC Test Engineer.  This position requires an experienced professional to execute and prepare of EMC tests to guarantee compliance of Lucid’s Electronic ECUs. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. The Role:

  • The EMC test Engineer reports to Test and Validation team and is responsible for the testing and debugging as well the development of the technical EMC specification at component level. The EMC test engineer will do the test plans for infotainment and controls ECU’s prior to the execution of tests for pre-compliance and compliance at Lucid facilities or External laboratories.  


  • Develop and supporting test equipment and setups.
  • Develop component EMC test plans.
  • Provide EMC technical support to product design teams.
  • Assist in troubleshooting product deviations.
  • Responsible for timely, accurate, and precise EMC test reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the lab coming up with creative ideas of productivity, quality improvements.
  • Knowledge of automotive EMC specs.
  • Knowledge of ISO 17025 EMC laboratory requirements.
  • Experience with controls type software, R&S EMC32.
  • Work with external labs managing the validation program.
  • Responsible for the professionalism and courtesy in the test lab when supporting the needs of testing for the product teams.
  • Maintain current knowledge of EMC standards and testing procedures.
  • Participate as a team member to accomplish the Lucid EMC’s requirements.
  • Support capital equipment and road mapping process for the test lab to identify equipment upgrades, capacity increase, and new technologies.
  • Experienced in using LabVIEW.
  • Assist lab manager with related tasks.
  • Standards like CISPR25, UNECE Reg10.5 ISO 11452-2, ISO 11452-4, ISO 7637-2-3 & ISO 10605
  • Detailed knowledge of Automotive EMC phenomena and theory.
  • Familiarity with worldwide Automotive EMC standards.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or 10 years of experience in automotive industry.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an EMC Laboratory testing at vehicle level.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in an EMC Laboratory testing at component level.
