This position requires a driven, highly detail oriented technical program manager to capture, track and close issues raised by the CTO. The candidate will bring a strong technical aptitude, a capacity for discerning the precise issue at hand, and will insure all understand the requirement and are focused on delivery.  This role will be energetically demanding with few time boundaries but it will be exciting and truly rewarding working with the best in the industry on amazing products.

The Role

  • Precisely document actions and requirements identified by the CTO in interactions across the enterprise.
  • Insure all stakeholders are immediately aware of these issues, and are clear on the required actions and details.  In cases of misalignment, thoughtfully manage escalation with related leaders and executives.
  • Track progress of these issues on a daily basis, facilitating issue owners’ progress, and reporting out to the CTO and PMO lead.
  • Insure that issues representing program risk are logged in the risk backlog.
  • Exercise excellent judgement in communication based on deep understanding of your stakeholders, enterprise priorities, and both strategic and tactical issues.
  • Interact closely with all necessary enterprise domains, from engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, sales/marketing, and others.  Understand their priorities in order to more fully enable your own performance.
  • Quickly learn the dimensions of the Lucid organization, the different functional and programmatic responsibilities and leverage this knowledge and your communication skills to resolve open issues.
  • Understand areas critical to CTO and work to enable success in these areas
  • Work on other projects related to program management as necessary; utilizing strong analytical skills and business knowledge.
  • Be available as needed by your primary stakeholder(s)
  • Work closely with executive assistant to insure CTO is fully up to date


  • 5 years of experience in engineering, management consulting, an enterprise wide program management or similar role in a technology-centric organization.
  • Experience working with executive staff
  • Direct experience working in an enterprise that designs, develops, produces and markets products.
  • Excellent EQ and perception.  Ability to facilitate communication across a diverse workforce.
  • Comfortable and confident actively engaging and communicating at all levels of the enterprise.
  • An excellent ear for communicated intent and unwavering ability to clarify when required both for yourself and other stakeholders – never afraid to ask questions
  • Learn very quickly with an aptitude for technical subjects
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to move easily between tactical and strategic perspectives
  • Strong understanding of automotive engineering, manufacturing and supply chain issues
  • Bonus Points:
  • Experience in an auto industry business, preferably an OEM.
  • Skills in 3D cad tools
  • BS/BA in a technical discipline with a preference for mechanical engineering and advanced degrees
