We are currently seeking an Incoming Quality Manager leading plant’s supplier quality and assuring zero negative affectation to the operation. The Incoming Quality Manager will work directly with the Supply Chain and both will be the key interface with Engineering, Facilities, Finance, Logistics and Manufacturing to deliver world class products on time and cost effectively. The Incoming Quality Manager will work with suppliers in order to improve their performance until we succeed as part of our business alliance.


  • Build and lead a world-class team of Incoming Quality Engineers. Establish and manage priorities and project assignments for all team members.
  • Create and implement departmental processes such as control and reaction plans to protect factory’s quality & delivery plans and forge excellent cross-functional relationships with supplier’s quality team.
  • Strong dimensional control & part acceptance criteria knowledge
  • Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
  • Develop and implement training plans for supervisors and team members. 
  • Work with suppliers to create new manufacturing techniques when necessary to meet design requirements.
  • Develop quality plans, design test methods and gages, identify potential failure modes and process weaknesses and drive corrective actions. 
  • Create, implement and review all manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and workstation layouts for part inspection with a proactive mindset
  • Specify all tooling and equipment for all current and planned manufacturing needs
  • Investigate supplier quality issues to determine root cause, conduct incoming parts inspections as needed and identify and implement corrective actions. 
  • Identify, trial and implement any new tools, equipment, and processes
  • Travel up to 25%, occasionally on short notice


  • Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings and an in-depth knowledge of quality standards and specifications in area of placement.
  • Team development and demonstrated leadership in quality or manufacturing organizations.
  • Ability to develop an improvement plan for suppliers to achieve desired results and avoid affecting factory’s performance
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and +10 years of equivalent experience required in automotive Industry
  • Masters preferred
