We are currently seeking to add an NVH vehicle test engineers to our team. Candidates are expected to be knowledgeable in the area of vehicle NVH and noise and development testing. They are also expected to be strong self-starters, team collaborators, excellent problem solvers, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Role:

  • Work with members of the team to create and execute test plans to maximize knowledge with tight timelines and fewer resources than found at traditional OEMs.
  • Work with other engineering teams (e.g., Chassis, Body, Exteriors, Interiors) to review NVH status against targets and guide design changes to benefit the NVH attribute. Must have ability to influence design based on engineering principle.
  • Perform testing to characterize, analyse and optimize NVH performance in a variety of areas, both at the vehicle and component level.
  • Deliver world-class NVH performance while balancing aggressive cost and mass targets.

Qualificatons:

  • 4 + years experience preferred.
  • Excellent communicator, collaborator, team player, and problem solver. 
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, thrive, and chart your own path in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of NVH principles.
  • Experience delivering vehicle NVH solutions into production.
  • Experience with noise and vibration test and evaluation methodologies, e.g., leakage testing, transfer path analysis, operational road and powertrain noise testing. 
  • Experience specifying, testing and validating road, power train and ancillary NVH performance, both at the component level and the vehicle level.
  • Proficiency with standard NVH tools such as accelerometers, microphones, modal hammers, etc.
  • Familiarity with LMS Test.Lab a plus.

  • MSc in Engineering
