This position will lead the Talent Acquisition function for Lucid Motors and is based in Newark, California. Currently scope of the role includes managing a team of ~25 with future growth planned. We are a global organization with offices in California, Arizona, Taiwan, and China and soon to open a location in the EU.

The Role

  • Lead both short term and long term planning and execution of talent acquisition initiatives from the campus to senior executive level.
  • Spearhead the workforce planning process to include diversity, critical skill pipeline, and link to the overall talent management strategy.
  • Develop and drive talent sourcing and acquisition strategies globally, including developing relations with external staffing partners.
  • Forge close alliances with senior management working with them to proactively identify critical staffing issues and develop diverse strategies to help meet their hiring objectives.
  • Create metrics to measure recruiting efficiency (recruiter loading, time to fill, etc.) and quality of hire, while maintaining a focus on budget spend.
  • Work with senior leadership to develop and implement an employment brand strategy.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, with 8+ years in a lead role with direct people management preferably with global team leadership.
  • Experience in building and managing talent acquisition teams while supporting multiple client groups and geographies.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of developing high performing teams, capable of servicing a high growth organization.
  • Must have a “solutions focus”, being able to sort through information and develop concise and clear solutions quickly.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Lever).
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to consistently deliver high quality results.
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning and organization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written required.
  • Education
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related or equivalent field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
