The primary role of the Marketing Events Specialist will be to coordinate, organize and support all external events and activations for the Lucid Brand.  We prioritize a world-class customer experience, and our events play a key role in building the Lucid brand and creating that unparalleled experience.  Above all, this role will be a passionate and organized project coordinator that understands marketing and event techniques, logistics, budgeting and an entrepreneurial approach to event operations 
 
Being one of the earliest members of our team, the Marketing Events Specialist will be instrumental in helping build out our event marketing strategy and go to market plan.
 
This role combines marketing, events, sales, program management, and requires a high degree of organization and customer-focused energy.

The Role

  • Maintain high level knowledge of the company’s vision mission and brand goals
  • Support, organize and execute high impact marketing activities and events consistent with Lucid’s global brand culture
  • Support with venue, partnership, agency and vendor contracts, including negotiations, internal approval process and proper fulfillment
  • Maintain budgets and successfully execute projects at or below budget
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of national and regional events and promotions such as consumer shows, product launches, national events, and other activities that have national or worldwide relevance for the Lucid brand
  • Support marketing vehicle demo fleet, assisting in the order process, supervising the appropriate use and ensuring timely availability for sale at the end of the assigned programs.
  • Supervise any contracted event support personnel
  • Coordinate shipping procedures and arrangements pre and post events
  • Develop and implement tools and activities for capturing new leads at events, managing data integration in Lucid CRM systems, reporting and metrics
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and their value to our customers
  • Think critically about event lead data and recommend new and scalable strategies to improve both lead numbers and the customer experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Qualification

  • 3+ years of professional experience in marketing + events
  • Passion for a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Self-starter and quick thinker who thrives in ambiguous and rapidly changing situations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to relentlessly prioritize
  • Strong commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Detail Oriented – develop a methodology to make certain all reports are accurate
  • Ability to stand and walk for several hours at a time
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Have and maintain a valid U.S. Driver's License
  • Advantageous
  • A passion for and working knowledge of automobiles, EVs and the future of mobility
  • Experience in luxury and high-tech industries
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
