To do so, we’re looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager for Wire Harnesses and Low Voltage Components. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the development of Lucid’s Low Voltage Harness Architecture and component selection and development. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly, adapt, and collaborate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. You must be excellent at multi-tasking and be able to balance detail-oriented skills with ability summarize quickly and clearly. 

This management position requires a highly experienced professional Technical Program Manager with a proven track record of excellence and managerial achievement. The candidate will be an accomplished team leader and manager, with a strong organizational capability and ability to command respect from the talented teams he or she will help lead and coordinate.  Ideally, this candidate will have proactive communication, so each individual team member remains aware of the timing and delivery expectations placed upon them and that critical issues are identified and brought to the attention of senior management with gauged advance notice. 




The Role

  • Lead and manage an excellent standard through hands-on example 
  • Create and play a leading role in the execution of an overall timing plan for Low Voltage Harness and components 
  • Interact with different teams to understand and document harness, high speed data, power distribution and grounding requirements.  
  • Track vehicle build quality issues internally and with suppliers. Coordinate actions to drive issues to closure.  
  • Drive Low Voltage component selection (batteries, switches, fuse boxes etc.) 
  • Work closely with Purchasing organization and Vehicle Integration teams to drive harness cost and weight reduction targets. 
  • Be involved in component and system integration, verification and testing on system and vehicle level including tracking key device deliveries for test 
  • Communicate program status to overall program managers and executives as required 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of profound knowledge of automotive low voltage wire harness architecture 
  • A proven track record of delivering products to production 
  • Knowledge of applicable safety standards and regulations, industry benchmark and customer requirements 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Experience with 12V connectors, electric and electronic fuses, current sensors, and batteries 
  • BS minimum in an engineering discipline (electrical engineering, automotive engineering or mechanical engineering) 
  • PMP certification preferred 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive supplier interaction, specification development, release management, change management, CAD experience 
  • Hands on work on Vehicle EE Systems and Troubleshooting
