We are currently seeking a Planning & Forecasting Manager.  This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in automotive procurement and operations. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

  • Manage all forecasting and procurement activities procurement(direct/indirect) for Service, and Aftersales functions
  • Material includes: spare/replacement service and collision parts, maintenance items, vehicle accessories, accessory charging equipment, service center tooling/equipment/supplies/services
  • Work cross-functionally to support procurement of material and services related to Sales/Service center build-out
  • Build a high impact team of forecasting and buyer/planning professionals to support global service operations
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Service to create and constantly refine forecast of service and collision parts
  • Forecast end of life planning inclusive of sourcing and manufacturing strategy, while remaining compliant with federal regulations

Expectations:

  • Minimum 10 years automotive procurement and/or operations experience
  • Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and vendors
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience maintaining product and company reputation by complying with government regulations
  • Passion to continuously develop, improve, and maintain processes
  • Team player attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • Service and bodyshop replacement parts procurement, forecasting, and end of life planning experience
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively
  • A scrappy attitude to accomplish difficult tasks sometimes with incomplete or missing information
  • Ability to organize and drive continuous improvement
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Advantageous:
  • Startup and product launch experience
  • Education Requirements:BS/BA, or equivalent experience in Business Administration
