Company is looking for a Office/Facilities Manager who will oversee maintenance in our locations. Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of building upkeep, repair operations, and administrative duties. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, visitors, management, and staff. Knowledge of administrative tasks such as project scheduling, requesting bids, and reviewing contracts are also essential.

The Role

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing facilities techs and janitorial staff
  • Responsible for employee refreshments, coffee services and micro markets
  • Responsible for Lobby Ambassadors 
  • Daily interaction and correspondence with employees and high-level executive team
  • Communicate with management about any work that requires outside vendor assistance
  • Schedule work and coordinate payments with outside contractors/vendors
  • Work order duties (change lightbulbs, planning and moving office equipment, etc.)
  • Analyze work order data and identify trends to improve efficiency
  • Moving of equipment, desks, workstations, etc. as needed
  • Contribute to the development of a budget and ensure compliance
  • Responsible for managing projects as assigned including employee and special events
  • Participate in company Safety Committee meeting
  • Conduct outer perimeter checks and rectify issues on cleanliness of parking lots, report issues to EHS and Security as applicable
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, health and safety regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by Department Head

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 plus years of facilities management
  • Must have excellent communication abilities (verbal and written)
  • Professional management of one's own time and attendance to meet the needs of the customer
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Comfortable with multiple computer programs such as Outlook, MS Office
  • The ability to lift over 40 pounds
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
  • Willingness to cross-train for other job functions
  • CAD Experience a plus. 
  • Working Conditions: 
  • Work in various environments such as extreme hot weather and rain
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 55 pounds
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
  • Crawl, stooping, hand feeling
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
