Lucid is looking for an experienced corporate paralegal to join our legal team.  This role will support Lucid’s legal team and business stakeholders in the management and handling of corporate records, business licenses and registrations, and other matters. 

The Role

  • Draft, file, and manage various business entity documents for corporations with State agencies
  • Assist with permitting, licensing, and registrations for various matters
  • Assist with, obtain and distribute notarizations, apostilles, legalized documents, certified copies, corporate filings and other corporate documents as needed
  • Maintain officer and director slates for various corporate entities as directed
  • Prepare written consents, resolutions, certifications, minutes and other corporate documentation as needed for domestic subsidiaries; update and maintain database for all subsidiaries and manage corporate agents
  • Support company’s subsidiary entity structure, including legal entity formation, dissolution and global restructuring projects
  • Assist with legal aspects of financing projects, including data room management, coordinating with different groups for due diligence; assist with closing documents, order certificates of good standing and any other special projects
  • Assist in maintaining worldwide corporate structure charts and global subsidiary lists
  • Manage and maintain corporate records
  • Draft legal contracts, correspondence and other documents as directed
  • Perform legal research
  • Assist with ethics and compliance programs


  • 5+ years of experience with a corporate legal department or law firm
  • Paralegal Certificate preferred
  • Notary Public Certificate preferred
  • Proficiency using virtual data rooms to upload and organize documents
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to effectively relay complex information in a concise format
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and manage multi-faceted projects
  • Proven track record of learning quickly, taking initiative, working proactively, being resourceful, and taking on additional responsibility
