We are currently seeking a Manager, Power Electronics Engineering. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to build and lead a talented team to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

  • Responsible to design, develop and validate the power electronics components, like traction inverters.
  • Build and lead a team to deliver high-performance, high-reliability products. 
  • Be responsible for project planning and management.
  • Contribute to drivetrain and vehicle level integrations from prototype to production
  • Work closely with mechanical design, manufacturing and supply chain to bring the product into mass production
  • Invent and create new technologies and solutions
  • Have a focus on traction inverter


  • Leadership in engineering development
  • Vision of advanced power electronics technologies
  • Solid background in components and topologies
  • Industrial design/troubleshooting/validation experience with EV inverter, drivetrain
  • Hands on experience for power electronics hardware development
  • Modeling and control expertise for power converters
  • Experience in EMI test and mitigation
  • Experience in DFM, DVPV, and mass production


  • Proven experience as engineering manager
  • Automotive experience
  • Good understanding of design for manufacturing, quality control and FMEA
  • Knowledge of safety and EMI requirements related to high power applications
  • Knowledge of environmental, reliability requirement for automotive, industrial and residential applications
  • Large volume product development experience


  • Minimum – BS in the areas of power electronics, electric power or electrical engineering
