Lucid levert UX 2.6 Over-the-Air software-update aan Lucid Air-eigenaren in Europa, met nieuwe en verbeterde functies.

AMSTERDAM — 25 februari, 2025 — Lucid Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: LCID), producent van de meest geavanceerde elektrische voertuigen ter wereld, kondigt vandaag de uitrol aan van Lucid UX 2.6 in Europa. Dit is een van de meest uitgebreide Over-the-Air (OTA) software-updates tot nu toe voor de Lucid Air. Dankzij de geavanceerde OTA-technologie van Lucid kunnen voertuigen continu worden verbeterd zonder een bezoek aan het servicecentrum. Met UX 2.6 introduceert Lucid een reeks nieuwe functies en verbeteringen die gemak, veiligheid en prestaties maximaliseren – en dat allemaal naadloos via OTA-updates.

Slimmer en intuïtiever rijden met DreamDrive Pro
Het optionele DreamDrive Pro Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) van Lucid is verder verfijnd en biedt bestuurders verbeterd zicht en meer controle:

• 3D Drie-Banen rijassistentie visualisatie en verdere verbeteringen: Een dynamische visualisatie op het centrale scherm geeft een duidelijker beeld van het omringende verkeer op snelwegen, terwijl high-definition kaarten nu details tonen over afritten, rijbaanwisselingen, bochten en meer, voor een intuïtieve rijervaring tijdens lange ritten.
• Instellingsopties: Bestuurders kunnen hun Waarschuwings- en Interventie-instellingen nu nog beter afstemmen op hun persoonlijke voorkeuren.

Luisteren naar Lucid-rijders
Lucid blijft waarde hechten aan feedback van eigenaren en richt zich op zinvolle updates die het dagelijkse rijcomfort verbeteren

• Geschatte actieradius: De geschatte actieradius bij aankomst gebruikt nu real-time energieverbruik en rijgedrag voor meer nauwkeurigheid. Bovendien toont het navigatiesysteem niet alleen de verwachte resterende lading bij de bestemming, maar ook een schatting van de resterende lading voor de terugreis.
• Regeneratief remmen: Er is nu een “Uit”-instelling toegevoegd voor vrij uitrollen, die bij het opnieuw starten van het voertuig standaard terugkeert naar de “Standaard”-modus.
• Verbeteringen in parkeerassistentie: Parkeerafstand waarschuwing, Surround View Monitoring en Achteruitrijmonitoring sluiten nu automatisch wanneer de snelheid van het voertuig boven de 10 km/u komt. Deze updates zorgen voor een naadloze overgang van parkeren naar rijden, verminderen afleiding en verhogen de veiligheid. Kerb Rash Alert waarschuwt de bestuurder als er een risico is dat een velg de stoeprand raakt tijdens het parkeren.

Hey Lucid!
Lucid Assistant is de nieuwe, handsfree spraakassistent van Lucid – een eenvoudige en intuïtieve manier om veel voertuigfuncties met je stem te bedienen. Druk op de microfoonknop op het stuur of zeg “Hey Lucid” om de navigatie- en audiosystemen te bedienen, de klimaatregeling aan te passen, de stoelverwarming in te schakelen, de handleiding te openen en meer. Bestuurders kunnen Lucid Assistant in- of uitschakelen via het instellingenmenu van het voertuig.

Lucid Assistant is beschikbaar in het Engels, Duits, Frans en Spaans. (Let op: Lucid Assistant vervangt Alexa in het voertuig.)

Over-the-Air updates voor continue innovatie
Net als een smartphone-update ontvangen Lucid Air-eigenaren een melding in hun voertuig en de Lucid mobiele app zodra de nieuwe softwareversie beschikbaar is. De update kan direct worden geïnstalleerd of op een geschikt moment worden ingepland, zoals 's nachts. Met de Lucid mobiele app kunnen eigenaren de nieuwste software-updates zelfs op afstand installeren, of ze nu thuis, op kantoor of zelfs in een Wi-Fi-verbonden vliegtuig zijn.

DreamDrive, DreamDrive Pro en Lucid’s veiligheidsfuncties zijn ontworpen als ondersteuning en niet als vervanging van een oplettende rijstijl. Bestuurders dienen altijd alert te blijven en niet uitsluitend op deze systemen te vertrouwen om ongevallen te voorkomen.

DreamDrive, DreamDrive Pro en het Lucid-veiligheidspakket zijn bedoeld als aanvulling en niet als vervanging van oplettend rijgedrag. Deze functies ondersteunen de geconcentreerde aandacht van de bestuurder – ze vervangen deze niet – en mogen niet als enige middel voor het voorkomen van ongevallen worden gebruikt.

De actieradius van specifieke Lucid Air-modellen volgens WLTP is als volgt: De Sapphire, waarvoor de Europese typegoedkeuring nog in afwachting is, heeft een gecombineerde actieradius van 694 km met 20-inch wielen aan de voorzijde en 21-inch wielen aan de achterzijde. De Grand Touring behaalt een actieradius van 960 km met 19-inch wielen, 882 km met 20-inch wielen en 817 km met 21-inch wielen. De Touring heeft een actieradius van 794 km met 19-inch wielen, 730 km met 20-inch wielen en 677 km met 21-inch wielen. De Pure RWD heeft een actieradius van 708 km met 19-inch wielen en 747 km met 20-inch wielen. De energieklasse voor al deze modellen is A.

De actieradius van de Lucid Air is gebaseerd op de WLTP-testprocedure (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure). Voor dit voertuig zijn geen NEFZ-waarden beschikbaar. De WLTP-waarden zijn vastgesteld op basis van tests met voertuigen die zijn uitgerust met de standaard fabrieksuitvoering. Het energieverbruik en de actieradius kunnen variëren afhankelijk van extra uitrusting en accessoires, weers- en verkeersomstandigheden en individuele rijstijl. De specifieke CO₂-uitstoot voor alle modellen bedraagt 0 gram CO₂ per gereden kilometer volgens de WLTP-norm.
