Kay Stepper
Vice President, ADAS & Autonomy
Kay Stepper serves as Vice President of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomy at Lucid. In this global leadership role, Kay oversees product development, strategy, engineering, and partnerships for ADAS and AD initiatives.
With over 30 years in the automotive industry, Kay brings deep expertise in engineering, research, product development, and marketing across the U.S. and Germany. Before joining Lucid, Kay was Vice President of Automotive at Qualcomm, and Senior Vice President at Bosch.
A recognized thought leader, Kay is frequently consulted by media and industry associations on automated driving, crash avoidance systems, and vehicle safety education. He has also provided expert testimony to government bodies, including the U.S. Congress.
Kay holds a PhD and M.Sc. in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
