Greater materials efficiency for the greater good
For Lucid, efficiency means using less materials, including battery materials, and less energy to do more, while being intentional about our use of the planet’s resources. Our commitment to efficiency has created some of the fastest‑charging, longest range, and most efficient EVs revolutionizing electric mobility and building the foundations for a better future. By using fewer batteries and less grid electricity, we’ve reduced the demand for critical materials and energy and reducing the environmental impact.

Intentionally designed manufacturing
Our manufacturing strategy integrates efficiency from design through daily operations to reduce environmental impact while delivering consistent quality and performance. Our Casa Grande, Arizona facility, the first purpose-built EV factory in North America, was engineered from the ground up to minimize environmental footprint and enhance production consistency. To further our impact, we are implementing a new 12‑megawatt on‑site solar energy system which is expected to be operational in 2027. Undertaken through a solar lease program, the new energy system supports Lucid’s long‑term sustainability strategy while preserving capital to fuel continued innovation and growth, aligning environmental responsibility with operational resilience and financial discipline.
Our second manufacturing plant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reflects the same principles of purposeful design and environmental stewardship. In recognition of these efforts, we were honored in 2025 with the Global Industrial Water Reuse Champions Award for our innovative approach to sustainable manufacturing. This includes an on-site water reuse system that recycles water used during production. By implementing this closed-loop process, we significantly reduce freshwater demand, lower environmental impact, and align with global best practices for water conservation.
Human Rights
At Lucid, we believe that respect for human rights is fundamental to our mission of creating sustainable mobility solutions. We are committed to upholding the human rights and dignity of all individuals across our operations and global supply chain. This commitment is embedded in our Policy Against Forced and Child Labor, which strictly prohibits any form of modern slavery, including forced labor, child labor, and human trafficking. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach and provide secure channels for reporting concerns without fear of escalation.
