The Lucid Air’s built-in Wunderbox is an absolute beast of a battery charger. With optional 900V+ architecture¹, it’s the fastest EV charging system available – able to fill up to 200 miles of charge in about 12 minutes.² Beyond speed, it’s compatible with nearly every public charging station and has V2V bi-directional capabilities.³

Along with the Lucid Air’s astonishing range, you can also benefit from our partnership with Electrify America — the most extensive network of ultrafast public charging stations nationwide. They have over 800 stations and over 3,500 chargers across the US and continue to grow. With Lucid’s Plug and Charge technology you’ll be able to conveniently charge at the Electrify America network without needing additional apps or charging cards. If that isn’t enough, the Lucid Air is compatible will all CCS networks and will soon support NACS charge points giving you the freedom of choice.⁵

Designed as elegantly as the car itself, the optional Lucid home charging station lets you wake up to a full charge. Just plug into any standard or NEMA14-50 outlet to instantly start charging. And it’s also future-ready, soon able to reverse the flow of energy. That means if there’s an outage, someday the built-in bi-directional capabilities will let you power your home with your Air.

RangeXchange lets you use your extra range to give an EV in need an extra boost—to help them get where they need to go. With a simple over-the-air update and the RangeXchange charging adapter, available for purchase soon, you'll be able to recharge another EV at a rate of up to 9.6kW – adding between 24 and 40 miles of range per hour.³

And this is just the beginning. Our engineers are hard at work to evolve Lucid’s proprietary bi-directional charging for future applications like vehicle-to-home and vehicle-to-grid power to better the lives of our customers and the world around them.
