2016
Lucid Motors is founded with the goal to build the best cars in the world. Later that year, the Lucid Air prototype is revealed.
2018
Lucid starts designing and supplying a leading electric motorsport with full-race battery technology.
2020
Lucid builds North America’s first greenfield, dedicated EV factory (AMP1) and begins Lucid Air production.
2021
Lucid delivers the first Lucid Air, the longest‑range and one of the most powerful electric vehicles ever made.
2023
Lucid expands manufacturing globally by opening Saudi Arabia's first high tech facility (AMP‑2), and Lucid debuts the Air Sapphire, one of the quickest production vehicles in the world.
2024
Lucid continues AMP‑1 factory expansion and delivers its first luxury SUV, Lucid Gravity.
2025
Lucid scales production of the Lucid Gravity and launches the vehicle in Europe and the Middle East. Uber, Nuro, and Lucid partner to launch a premium global robotaxi program.
2026
Lucid celebrates 10 years and prepares to reveal its next groundbreaking model.
