About the Team
The High Voltage Powertrain Systems team enables Lucid’s electric vehicle programs by building resilient, competitive supply chains for critical electromechanical commodities, including EVSE, high-voltage wiring, and DC/DC converters. The team partners closely with Engineering, Supplier Industrialization, Finance, Logistics, Quality, Legal, and Manufacturing to translate product requirements into executable sourcing and production plans. Its work spans strategy through launch and mass production, combining deep supplier engagement, manufacturing knowledge, commercial judgment, and data-driven analysis to protect continuity, cost, quality, and timing.
About the Role
Lucid is seeking a seasoned Senior Global Supply Manager to lead the High Voltage Electromechanical commodity portfolio within the High Voltage Powertrain Systems team. This role serves as the primary commercial and supply-chain leader for Tier 1 suppliers and critical Tier 2 component partners supporting EVSE, high-voltage wiring, and DC/DC converters. The position exists to strengthen commodity strategy, supplier execution, and cross-functional decision-making from development and industrialization through launch and mass production. In the first 12 months, success will be measured by stable NPI and production builds, executable sourcing and capacity plans, effective management of design changes and shortages, and clear commodity recommendations that improve cost, continuity, quality, and timing. The successful candidate will have direct ownership of complex, high-impact sourcing decisions for advanced EV powertrain systems and will present insights and recommendations to both working teams and executive stakeholders.
What You Own
In this role, you will:
- Program Execution: Lead supply-chain, industrialization, and supplier-performance execution for NPI and mass-production builds, ensuring production readiness and delivery against program milestones.
- Supply Continuity: Own supply plans for design changes, ECO implementation, material shortages, capacity constraints, and testing requirements, driving timely mitigation and escalation decisions.
- Commodity Strategy: Develop and implement global commodity strategies, including supplier selection, resourcing, and allocation balancing, to maximize value across cost, quality, technology, capacity, and risk.
- Risk Management: Evaluate geopolitical, regulatory, macroeconomic, and international trade risks and translate them into sourcing actions that protect continuity of supply.
- Supplier Leadership: Lead commercial relationships with Tier 1 suppliers and critical Tier 2 component partners, establishing clear expectations and driving performance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Executive Insights: Produce compelling commodity summaries and data visualizations that synthesize industry structure, economics, technology trends, supplier positioning, and strategic recommendations for working teams and executives.
- Cross-Functional Decisions: Serve as the primary supply-chain liaison across Engineering, Supplier Industrialization, Finance, Logistics, Quality, Legal, and Manufacturing, aligning stakeholders and enabling timely business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in finance, international business, engineering, supply chain, or a related technical field.
- Product-launch experience supporting development, industrialization, and transition to mass production.
- Manufacturing experience and knowledge of processes for high-voltage electromechanical commodities and related components.
- Prior experience in supply-chain analysis, engineering, manufacturing, or managerial or financial consulting.
