Lucid Gravity Live View

Nearly 360 degrees of sight around your parked vehicle, even when it’s out of sight

Lucid Gravity Live View (Beta Version)

Keep an eye on your vehicle, even when you’re far away. With optional Live View, currently available in a beta version, you can watch real-time video from your Lucid Gravity’s external cameras in the Lucid mobile app whenever your vehicle is parked, letting you see what’s happening when you’re not there—for more security, and less worry.¹

Live View is an optional upgrade that all new Lucid Gravity Grand Touring and Dream Edition owners will be able to try during a limited-time trial period until the end of 2025.² Live View requires a premium vehicle connectivity subscription as well as a compatible mobile device with an active data plan that is connected to a cellular network. Everyone who has an equipped Lucid Gravity vehicle paired with their Lucid mobile app may access Live View, not just the owner.

Getting Started

Live View is accessible through the Lucid mobile app. If you haven’t already, download and install the Lucid mobile app on your smartphone.

When to use Live View

Live View gives you nearly 360 degrees of sight around your parked vehicle, wherever you may be. Unfold your side mirrors for a more complete picture. If your vehicle detects a threat, such as a break-in or unauthorized towing, it will alert you, and you can use Live View to see what’s happening and further deter bad actors by honking your horn or flashing your lights. You can also use Live View even when you know your vehicle is perfectly safe:

  • Find exactly where you parked. The Lucid mobile app can pinpoint your vehicle location and remind you where you parked, but in a multi-level parking facility, it can’t tell you what level you’re on. Open Live View and see which letters and numbers are painted on the columns near your vehicle, helping you locate it more easily.

  • Plan a pickup or drop-off. Expecting someone to drop something off for you Use Live View to make sure it’s them, then open or close the trunk or frunk for them.

  • Restore peace of mind. If you’re wondering how your vehicle is doing while you’re away, or worried you missed a security notification, check Live View to set your mind at ease.

Accessing Live View

Check Live View at any time by opening the Lucid mobile app, scrolling to the Live View tile, and tapping the Video Camera button. For even easier access, you can add the Video Camera button to your Car Controls. To do this, tap and hold any car control button to enter customization mode, then tap and hold the Video Camera button and drag it to your preferred position. When you have finished, tap Done.

Using Live View

When you launch Live View, you will see:

  • Thumbnails of four real-time video feeds

  • A bird’s-eye model of your vehicle that shows the cameras’ field of view and status, and

  • A variety of car controls

Live View Requirements

Live View is an optional upgrade that all new Lucid Gravity Grand Touring and Dream Edition owners will be able to try during a limited-time trial period until the end of 2025. Live View requires compatible vehicle hardware and a compatible mobile device. If your vehicle is equipped, a Live View tile will be visible in the Lucid mobile app. Live View is only available when the vehicle is Parked and is not available in all regions. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws when using Live View.

Live View also requires a premium vehicle connectivity subscription. Live View does not work when your vehicle is connected solely to a Wi-Fi network. Your mobile device will also need to have the Lucid mobile app installed and access to a cellular or Wi-Fi network to view the video feeds from your vehicle cameras. Live View videos do not have audio.

Live View videos are not recorded or saved to your vehicle or mobile device and may only be viewed by one person at a time. Live View may be accessed for a total of up to six hours (360 minutes) per vehicle per month (or 72 hours per vehicle per year).

If your vehicle battery is below 20%, Live View will be disabled to conserve energy.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you see a blank camera feed, first, turn your vehicle off and back on again, which resets your cameras. Next, check if something might be blocking the camera lens, such as dirt or debris. If neither of these restores the feed, you should schedule a service appointment in the Lucid mobile app and have a technician check your cameras.

You might see a notification that Live View is unavailable or disabled in the Lucid mobile app. This can happen for two reasons:

    1. Your vehicle is not connected to a network. If your vehicle is not connected to the internet, it is unable to send the video feeds from its external cameras to the Lucid mobile app. This can occur when your vehicle is parked somewhere without a strong cellular network.

    2. Your vehicle is not asleep. Live View (beta version) is currently only available when your vehicle is asleep, i.e., when it is parked, unoccupied, locked, and out of range of your key fob. If your vehicle is charging or if occupants are still in the vehicle, the vehicle will remain awake, even if it’s parked and locked. If you approach your vehicle and it detects your key fob, it will also wake up, disabling Live view.

To check whether Live View is working, make sure your vehicle is in an area with a strong cellular connection, parked, locked, unoccupied, and not connected to a charging cable. Once your key fob is out of range, the vehicle will go to sleep. Then use the Lucid mobile app to open Live View. If you still see an error message, contact Customer Care for assistance.
