Billy Hayes is the Chief Customer Officer at Lucid, where he oversees Lucid’s customer touchpoints, including sales, service, ownership experience and marketing, with a focus on improving the full customer journey and strengthening commercial execution. His leadership reflects a customer-first approach, operational execution, and a focus on building teams that deliver for customers.
Billy brings more than 25 years of automotive experience, including senior roles at Nissan and Stellantis. At Nissan, he helped scale the company’s global zero-emissions business when it was the global volume leader in electric vehicles, before leading North America sales and regional operations. His background spans sales, customer experience and sales network performance, and he also previously led Stellantis’ sales, marketing, and regional operations across India and Asia Pacific.
Billy earned his MBA from the RPI Lally School of Management, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from Bates College, and a Bachelor of Science through Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Dual Degree Program.
