Our Respect for Human Rights
At Lucid, we believe that respect for human rights is fundamental to our mission of creating sustainable mobility solutions. We are committed to upholding the human rights and dignity of all individuals across our operations and global supply chain. This commitment is embedded in our Policy Against Forced and Child Labor, which strictly prohibits any form of modern slavery, including forced labor, child labor, and human trafficking. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach and provide secure channels for reporting concerns without fear of retaliation.
We also seek to source all raw materials for our products that have been mined and produced without violating any human rights and environmental standards. This commitment is outlined in our Responsible Sourcing Policy which also requires all Lucid suppliers to support our due diligence efforts, implement robust due diligence programs and strive to source raw materials from sources that have undergone independent third-party audits against a recognized social compliance standards. Due to the complexity and scale of our supply chain, we take a risk-based approach to our efforts.
To support our policies, we have established a Supplier Code of Conduct to provide more detailed guidance to our suppliers. The Supplier Code of Conduct contains multiple expectations for our suppliers covering areas such as business ethics, forced and child labor, environment, and health and safety topics to support our commitments minimize human rights and environmental issues and support workers in our broader supply chain with a fair, safe and healthy work environment.
